I hand nothing to Chelsea. They have a massive squad. They got the result the majority of people were expecting.

How low is the bar set for Nolan, that he completes a few passes and wins a tackle or two and people are praising him.

He done marginally better than he has all season. Nothing to write home about.

Downing has been shit for a while as well. Him jumping out of a 50/50 at the edge of our box made me feel sick, complete bottle job.

Nene looks like he has a bit of a ability if we an get him the ball around the box.

That being the case it does

On account that you have learnt sweet fuck all over the years and are clearly a senile old cunt, older than this old cunt by a margin in fact

And in line with a good East London upringing, I will defer to my elders, irrespective of the paucity of theire debate

Never like losing to chelsea but feel good with the effort tonight.

great team performance, gave everything and never gave up,even when it was obvious the ref for some reason wanted to give everything to chelsea.

Well done to the fans, we were great tonight. Even when losing showed Jose what real fans are like. Think next year could be special, be great to beat the big teams for the final time at the old stadium.

Some real old school songs and chants, especially songs about boarding trains or not as the case may be.

Crassus - what's this, a dick swinging contest? You've no idea how many games I've been to.
But, for the record, seeing as I've been going since '61 it's well into four figures. Not that it means anything.

Reid overstretched going for a ball after about 3 mins and was flexing his leg for a while before he went off a couple of mins later.

The ref was shit by the way

Crassus Marriner played a blinder for Mourinho and Chelsea.

You often see officials being put under pressure during a game against the big clubs before they succumb tonight Marriner and his officials clearly came on to the pitch tonight with the clear objective not to upset Chelsea by giving anything controversial against them.

Had the roles been reversed for the goal I have no doubt the Lino would have flagged through fear that it could have been offside, similar with Terry's challenge had we committed that challenge I have no doubt the decision would have been different.

I am not saying the officials were terrible but they clearly weren't objective in their decision making which in my opinion was down to fear of upsetting Chelsea.

Our support in the 2nd half was excellent. Next year is going to be awesome.

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread 0-1 FT
Cracking game (seen on stream). We were worth the draw, no doubt. Goal was offside: looked it in realtime and clearly so on replay. Both keepers had good games . Ref was OK I thought. Let the game flow reasonably well. The lino who missed the offside and called the ball out when Valencia was through is a numpty.
Truth is Chelsea could (should) have scored 3. With better finishing 3-3 would have been about right!
Everybody put in a decent shift. Enjoyed Kouyate's probing runs. Didn't miss Song.
Anyone know what happened to Reid?

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread 0-1 FT
Good performance, deserved a draw. Their goal was dissapointing, I don't like to criticise that performance, but wonder if Reid had stayed on would it have made a difference for their goal. I could see it coming as Cresswell left Ramires in acres of space enabling him to cross without challenge, Ginge was also slow to get back to challenge Hazard. I know it was just offside, but still it was terrible defending.

I am in England and neither pissed nor that greatly pissed off - I enjoyed our lot taking it to the lottery winners

No shame in that tonight and no need to lay blame - had you seen as many games as me then you would know when that is due, and fuck me I have seen some filth on the pitch in our shirt over the years, both home and away

Eerie

In truth mate, I think our lad played it. Initially I was squealing like a piglet for a pen and red but reluctantly on replay, reckon it was 'one of those'.

I bow to your greater observation of the ref, but tonight he got plenty wrong in my eyes for both sides and could have naused a right old lets have it game, axs I said elsewhere, no desent, no shirt pulling or diving, no corner fuckwittery - just proper lets have it at tempo

I honestly wish all games were like that, errors accepted

Crassus - It's best not to post when you're pissed. Or perhaps you mean pissed off, as we say here in England.

Ron in being a contrary cunt shocker!

I don't think he's West Ham... Just lonely and seeking some sort of interaction.

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread 0-1 FT
Crassus, I did mention it was the lino who didn't give it.

However, just the one incident alone, when John Terry knew exactly what he was doing, if you can hand on heart say you think that if it was up the other end, Collins on Hazard, it wouldn't have been a free-kick/penalty and a 2nd yellow, well, there's nothing more to discuss.

But it wasn't just because it was Chelsea, we've been getting this rub off Marriner forever, I've been in my mates ear who I sit with for years about him.

Any Old

I have that by default, so nohing new there and as they say it takes one to know one

So maestro - clinically, tell me where that opinion is wrong?

technically the ref failed numerously with his cards but elected to let it play, two hits on Zuma for starters would have been reds another day and one from Noble after likewise

Sure they too lumped in, but I played and watched when that was fair game, so fuck all that modern day push pull at a corner malarkey but a yellow for an inocuous foul or shirt pull

Incidentally, I dont recall shirt pulling, corner shit or desent by bitches - I do some heavy challenges and a proper game

Crassus 12:38 Thu Mar 5
Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread 0-1 FT
Eeerie

I think it was a wrong call too, looked offside and was

But the ref has linesman for that

Another ref another day would have waved reds about wildly and ruined a proper game - sure I am pissed but mate we went toe to toe with truly great players and on another day would have done them

I think Ron is fair in his shout

Claims ref had a blinder. Unbelievable.

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread 0-1 FT
What a fucking cunt Ron Antly is.

Ok, you somehow think the ref got all those dodgy calls spot on, but what do you think of the one big decision that decided the game, where the lino didn't call for offside when he was a yard offside?
